Safeguarding
FHEI is committed to a safe, positive and respectful environment for everyone in ice hockey across Indonesia — free from abuse, harassment and discrimination.
Our Fundamental Principles
Zero Tolerance
We maintain a strict zero-tolerance approach to abuse, harassment, bullying or discrimination, and all allegations are addressed promptly.
Child Welfare
The welfare and best interests of children are paramount in all our decisions and actions. We are committed to child-safe environments for young athletes.
Shared Responsibility
Safeguarding is a shared responsibility. Every member of the Indonesian ice hockey community has a role in recognising, reporting and preventing misconduct.
Confidentiality
All reports and investigations are handled with the utmost confidentiality to protect the privacy of everyone involved.

Any deliberate act that causes or threatens to cause physical harm, such as punching, kicking, or forcing an athlete to play while injured.
Neglect
The failure of any person with a duty of care to provide the necessary support, supervision or resources, leading to harm or the risk of harm.
Racism and Discrimination
Any action or attitude that subordinates or prejudices an individual or group based on race, colour, gender, sexual orientation, religion or any other personal characteristic.
Emotional Abuse
Any act that diminishes a person’s sense of identity, dignity and self-worth — including verbal assault, humiliation, intimidation and isolation.
Sexual Misconduct
Any conduct of a sexual nature where consent is not given or is obtained through coercion or manipulation, including harassment and abuse.
How to Report a Concern
